Buddhawood:
“The aroma of Buddhawood CO2 extract is soft, aged leather, mossy and faintly whiskey like. This follows with a rainbow of woods, all beautifully layered together resulting in a masterpiece balsamic woody bouquet and finishing with sweet caramel nuances.
Also known as desert rosewood and false sandalwood. This material is extracted from the heartwood of the tree and in natural perfumery, it can be used as a general fixative, and for precious wood accords, incense perfumes, forest notes and sacred essences. Used by Aboriginals for infections, cuts and abrasions."
Sandalwood:
“The aroma on my skin is classic sandalwood, slowly exuding warm, balsamic and masculine, woody, slightly sweet, creamy and diffusive qualities. I do detect a sharp pine needle and citrus infused top note which fades out fast but that aside I cannot fault this material at all. I think this material on drying out is reminiscent of a very good decade old Indian Sandalwood, very vintage and very beautiful. The aroma possess more of the natural character of the timber than that of the steam distilled material.
